Parks Canada Online Jersey Auction Now Underway in Support of Bulldogs Foundation

HAMILTON, ONT. - The Bulldogs Foundation announced today details of an online auction of game-used, autographed Parks Canada-themed jerseys and socks to be worn by the Hamilton Bulldogs on Parks Canada's Learn to Camp Night on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. at FirstOntario Centre. Proceeds of the auction will go to the Foundation's Dawgs Breakfast Program. The auction - powered by Tangle Media - is live now at www.bulldogsauction.com .

The auction will run until Sunday, March 1 at 6 p.m. If last-second bids are being submitted, the closing time will be extended by two minutes per bid.

Anyone wishing to participate in the Bulldogs Foundation online auction must first obtain a username and password to www.bulldogsauction.com to use when bidding. (Note: this procedure only needs to be completed once and you must provide credit card information - VISA, MasterCard or American Express.)

Bidders must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the auction. All bids must be placed electronically on the website which can also be accessed via your mobile device. Each increase in bidding must meet or exceed the minimum bid increment of $5. Bidders are expected to honour all winning bids.

Parks Canada's Learn to Camp Night is set for Saturday, Feb. 28, when the 'Dogs will host the Charlotte Checkers at FirstOntario Centre at 7 p.m. Learn to Camp Night will feature fun-filled, family-friendly activities for up to 60 participants. Learn the basics of setting up a campsite, campfire activities and sleeping in a tent. Dinner, game tickets and breakfast are included. The Bulldogs Foundation was established in 2007. The mission of the Foundation is to enrich the lives of children and youth in the Greater Hamilton Area through cash donations, gifts in kind and the assignment of tickets.
