'Dogs Visit Comets, Host Checkers in Four-Game Week

After collecting points in three of four games last week, the Hamilton Bulldogs continue their hunt for a playoff spot with two home games and two road games this week.

On Tuesday, Feb. 24, the Bulldogs will visit the Utica Comets (American Hockey League affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks) at Utica Memorial Auditorium at 7 p.m. in the fourth of eight contests between these two teams this season. The 'Dogs will return to Utica on Sunday, March 1 for a 4 p.m. contest with the Comets. Hamilton is 2-1-0-0 against the Utica so far in 2014-15.

On Friday, Feb. 27 and Saturday, Feb. 28, the Bulldogs will welcome the Charlotte Checkers (AHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes) to FirstOntario Centre for the first time. Game time is 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 7 p.m. on Saturday. The two clubs went to battle for the first two times ever earlier this season in Charlotte, N.C., where the 'Dogs earned a win and a loss in a weekend set.
