Bay Area Panthers News Release
The Panthers fortified the defensive line with the signing of restricted free agent Noah Harris-Lyles.
"I'm so excited about Noah Harris-Lyles," said Head Coach Darren Arbet. "His first step is unbelievable. His finish to the quarterback is tremendous. He's going to be a big part of what the Panthers do in 2023."
Last season as a rookie, playing for the Quad City Steamwheelers, Harris-Lyles played in seven games, recording 5.5 tackles for loss with 2.5 sacks.
Among his first-year highlights was a sack in the closing seconds to preserve the first-round playoff win over the Iowa Barnstormers.
Harris-Lyles started 12 games for Notre Dame College in 2021 and totaled 56 tackles, ranking fourth on the team. He was second on the squad with 22 tackles-for-loss and led the Falcons with 12 sacks.
