Fighters Sign Linebacker Quez Jackson

FRISCO, Texas - The Frisco Fighters have signed linebacker Quez Jackson for the 2023 season.

Jackson stands at 6-foot-1, 225 pounds and is joining the Fighters after four seasons at Georgia Tech.

"Quez is a tackling machine," said head coach Billy Back. "246 total tackles in the ACC for a career is getting to the football. He has tremendous speed, his attitude is relentless and a Georgia Tech team captain and grad that let's us know his IQ is off the charts. We are excited for this young man to come in and lead this league in tackling and get that real shot at the next level."

During his career with the Yellow Jackets, Jackson locked down over 240 tackles, 127 solo, 119 assisted, three sacks, two forced fumbles, and two interceptions. He improved his performance each year, almost doubling his tackles in 2020 from 49 to 80 and then solidifying over 100 his senior year for the 2021 season. For his efforts, Jackson earned a spot on the second team All-AAC Defense.

The Frisco Fighters return to the field next spring for the 2023 season. Squadron Memberships are on sale now and single-game tickets will be available at a later date.
