
Fighters Sign Quarterback Alphonso Howard

FRISCO, Texas - The Frisco Fighters announced today that the team has signed quarterback Alphonso Howard for the 2023 season.
"We are excited for Alphonso to come in and use his abilities to compete for the starting job," said head coach Billy Back of the signing. "He's dynamic and a perfect mixture of a runner and a passer for the IFL."
Howard, the 6-foot-1, 205-pound quarterback joins the Fighters after playing one season with the Beasts of the Fan Controlled Football League. Howard played collegiately at Prairie View A&M University, Eastern Kentucky University and ASA college.
The Frisco Fighters return to the field next spring for the 2023 season. Full Squadron Memberships are on sale now. Single-game tickets will be on sale at a later date.
