Birmingham, Mich - The Detroit Panthers is pleased to announce that their search for a great defensive player has resulted in the signing of Walter Waters, a 6'11" center.
"He comes to the team with a true knowledge of the game and skills that will make him a force to be reckoned with," stated Bill Jones, Detroit Panthers head coach and asst. general manager. Walter's professional career spans from the Harlem Globetrotters to the CBA, European, and the ABA leagues.
As with signing new players sometimes waivers have to be made. The Panthers put rookies, Micah Kirstein and Jasen Hunt on waivers.
