January 31, 2009 - Premier Basketball League (PBL)
Montreal Sasquatch News Release
Quebec City, PQ- Despite Randy Gill being held to only 13, Jamaal Wise picked up the slack with a game high 35 as Montreal cruises to a 98-73 victory over Quebec.
Montreal lead wire to wire in this one as they went on a 10-0 run to start the game on five from Louis-Patrick Levros, a three by Bobby Miller and a 17 footer by Wise. Dominique Soucy finally broke the scoring drought for Montreal with a 12 footer to close the lead to eight. Montreal would go on another run of 14-3 and the Sasquatch lead by 19 after one.
It was more of the same for Montreal in the second as they took an 18 point lead at the half and extended the lead to 31 in the third, but then the rally started for the Kebs. Michael Anderson scored eight straight points for the Kebs and Dominique Soucy nailed a three and the lead was cut to 17 and would be cut to nine after three quarters.
Jammal Wise would then get hot again with 12 of his game high 35 in the fourth as Montreal outscored Quebec 29-13 to cruise to the easy victory.
