Pair Of Third Period Goals Propels B-Sens Past Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The B-Sens completed a four game road trip by defeating the Atlantic Division's Providence Bruins by a score of 4-3 Sunday evening.

Josh Hennessy notched the game winning goal, on the power player with less than five minutes remaining in regulation to help push his B-Sens past the Bruins.

Defenseman Derek Smith opened the scoring giving Binghamton the 1-0 lead shorthanded at just 2:30 of the first period.

Jason Bailey and Ryan Keller also added goals for the B-Sens. For Bailey it was his fourth goal in just as many games.

Ned Lukacevic shone for the Bruins, notching two of Providence's three goals.

Chris Holt started in net for Binghamton, stopping 21 of 24 shots faced.

The B-Sens return to action Wednesday, March 17 as they host the Hershey Bears at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating.
