
AHL Announces Suspensions
March 14, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Rochester Americans left wing Jimmy Bonneauhas been suspended for one (1) game and Rochester left wing Steve MacIntyre has been suspended pending completion of a league review, as a result of their actions in a game at Syracuse on Mar. 13.
Bonneau received an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 23.3 for accumulating his third game misconduct in the general category this season.
MacIntyre has been suspended automatically after being assessed a match penalty under AHL Rule 21.1 for attempt to injure an opponent.
Both players will miss Rochester's game today (Mar. 14) vs. Grand Rapids.
