
Pair of Rookies Return from San Antonio

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that defenseman Shayne Taker and forward Steven Hodges have been reassigned to Cincinnati from the San Antonio Rampage.
Taker (TACK-ur), a Notre Dame Fighting Irish alum, returns to Cincinnati after spending the couple of weeks in the AHL. In four games for the Rampage since being recalled on February 9, the 25-year-old did not register a point but did collect a pair of penalty minutes. While with the Cyclones, Taker has earned 10 tallies (2g, 8a) in 37 games along with 28 penalty minutes and a solid +10 rating.
Hodges, Florida's third round draft pick in 2012, has earned seven points (4g, 3a) in 15 ECHL games this year along with 21 penalty minutes. At the AHL level, the rookie forward has notched a pair of points (1g, 1a) in 23 contests.
Cincinnati will play their next five games away from Downtown Cincinnati beginning this Saturday night when they visit the Evansville IceMen at 8:15pm ET. Fans can hear the action of the game on the Cyclones Radio Network beginning at 7:55pm ET and watch LIVE at the Game Time Sports Bar and Grill in Cheviot.
The Cyclones will be return to U.S. Bank Arena on Friday, March 13 when they welcome in the Orlando Solar Bears at 7:30pm!
