HOST LOWELL LOCK MONSTERS ON WEDNESDAY
Providence, RI -- The Providence Bruins, well into the homestretch of the 2001-02 regular season, begin a three-game week on Wednesday, March 27th, when they host the Eastern Conference-leading Lowell Lock Monsters at 7:05 p.m. The contest will mark the seventh of eight this season between the teams. The Bruins are 2-3-0-1 against Lowell this season, and 13-13-2 all-time. Providence ranks seventh in the Eastern Conference playoff seedings with its 33-28-8-4 record (78 points), just three points behind the sixth-ranked Hamilton Bulldogs.

LOWELL: RW Jeff Heerema is tied for 15th in the AHL with 31-32-63 totals...G Tyler Moss is tied for second in the AHL with a .928 save percentage...RW Mike Zigomanis is tied for seventh among AHL rookies with 15-30-45 totals...RW Jaroslav Svoboda has 5-5-10 totals in his last 10 games...C Ian MacNeil has 2-3-5 totals in his last five...G Jean-Marc Pelletier has three wins against Providence.
