Syracuse, NY (March 26, 2002) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled center Sean Pronger.
Pronger, 29, has appeared in 54 games with the Crunch this season, recording 23 goals, 26 assists and 53 penalty minutes. In 17 games with Columbus this season, Pronger recorded one goal. A native of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Pronger was claimed off of waivers by Columbus from the New York Islanders on May 18, 2001.
Syracuse travels to Rochester on March 29 for a 7:30 p.m. game. The Crunch's next home game is Wednesday, April 3 at 7 p.m. against Rochester.
