CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Detroit Red Wings returned goaltender to the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks and moved defenseman Ryan Gaucher from Cincinnati to Toledo of the East Coast Hockey League on Tuesday.
Elliott, recalled Monday by Detroit under emergency conditions for Dominik Hasek, has posted a 10-14-5 record with a 2.71 goals-against average and .905 save percentage in 37 games with Cincinnati this season. He has not appeared in any games for the Red Wings this season.
Gaucher has three goals and 12 assists in 47 games with Cincinnati this season. He has four goals and 11 assists in 19 games with Toledo this season.
