Mike Mottau scored his first goal of the season on a shot from just inside the blue line with Grant Marshall and Ryan Murphy recording the assists.
The P-Bruins retook the lead at the 9:48 mark of the second period. Martins Karsums held the puck in the zone and shuffled it off to Nate DiCasmirro. He made a pass to Krejci, who was all alone in front of the net. Krejic waited for Parise to commit to one side of the net then sent the puck in the opposite direction into a half open net to give the P-Bruins the 3-2 lead. With time running out in the second period the Devils knotted the game at three. At the 17:12 mark Grant Marshall sent the puck into the Providence net from the right face off circle. Murphy had the lone assist as the game went into the second intermission tied at three.
In the third period, on their second power play of the game the Devils capitalized at the 5:26 mark. David Clarkson snuck the puck between the post and Toivonen to give Lowell their first lead of the game. Minard and McGillis had the assists as the Devils held on for the 4-3 victory.
