Northern Colorado Owlz News Release

HELENA-The Orem Owlz (20-12) showed off their strength of the season in the fourth inning of play as they powered through the Helena Brewers (14-16) 10-3 as they scored seven runs in the fourth inning to win back to back games in Helena.

The night started off with David Fletcher hit a single to open up the first inning of play. After his single to the outfield Taylor Ward didn't hesitate to send him a cross home plate with fly ball to center field that dropped for an RBI single to put the Owlz on top 1-0.

In the next inning Tanner Lubach made a statement that lead to a near perfect night for the catcher as he smashed a home run over the wall which led to 3 hit night for the catcher who hit home three runners of his own to help the Owlz defeat the Brewers.

Pitching was also on point for Orem on the mound as three pitchers stepped on the mound as Eduar Lopez starting the night out with 4 strikeouts in four innings, then Ronnie Glenn (W, 5-1) struck out six Brewers of his own, before Arron Cox ended the night with four strikeouts of his own in his time on the mound.

On Tuesday night the Owlz and Brewers will wrap up a four game series in Helena and finish up the season series with both team winning three games each.
