Joining the team in Missoula today (7/17) is right-handed pitcher Brok Butcher.

He was drafted in the 25th round of the 2005 draft by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

He got called up to Lo-A Cedar Rapids from extended spring training on April 10th of this year for his first professional action.

While there, Butcher had nine appearances out of the bullpen, going 1-0 with a 5.17 ERA in 15.2 IP. He also struck out six and walked four.

Then, he was sent down to Arizona where he pitched four games as a starter, compiling a 1-0 record with a 1.56 ERA in 17.1 IP. He struck out 16 and walked four.

The last college team he played for before turning pro was Oxnard Community College in California.
