July 17, 2006 - Pioneer League (PL)
Casper Ghosts News Release
Casper, WY - Following the example of the Hagerstown Suns, Tuesday, July 18, will be a little cooler at Mike Lansing Field during the Eskimo Night celebration when the Casper Rockies take on the Great Falls White Sox at 7:05 pm.
In the midst of the current heat wave, the Rockies want to help cool down Casper. The Rockies management is so confident in their weather predicting flair that they guarantee that the temperature will not rise above 80 degrees at any point after the game's first pitch or all fans will receive a free General Admission ticket for a future game.
Fans will be greeted at the front gate with a free piece of ice as they enter the park. All ice in soft drinks is FREE the entire night. The concession stand will be featuring Eskimo Pie's at half price. Eskimo related trivia, an ice cube melting race and many other 'chilling' activities will be held throughout the game. Any fan showing a valid I.D. or drivers license from Alaska, Canada or any other providence inherit to Eskimos at the Ticket Booth will be given free admission to the game.
"Casper's been too warm lately, so we are looking to fool Mother Nature and have one of the coolest nights at the ballpark," said Seth Mathews, Director of Operations.
Come join the Casper Rockies for their exciting 2006 campaign. For more information, or to purchase tickets, contact the Casper Rockies office (307) 232-1111.
