Corey Dickerson has been named to the Topps Short Season/ Rookie All Star Team. Dickerson had already been named best hitter in the short season category in an MILB online fan poll.
Corey Dickerson (21) of McComb, Miss., had 44 extra base hits to tie for the classification lead and his 61 runs batted in tied for second best among short season players. The Casper Ghosts outfielder also ranked among the top five players in his class in doubles (22), triples (9), slugging percentage (.634), hits (96) and OPS (1.046). The Colorado Rockies selected him in the eighth round in June out of Meridian (Miss.) Community College.
