Hamilton Bulldogs News Release

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Club, in partnership with Hamilton Street Railway, announced today the launch of the Park 'n' Ride Bulldogs Express Shuttle and the "Ticket to Ride" program for the 2012 AHL Outdoor Classic presented by Molson Canadian and Boston Pizza.

These free programs feature two convenient and sustainable options for ticket-holders looking to make their way to Ivor Wynne Stadium on Friday, January 20th, 2012 for the PepsiCo AHL Outdoor Classic Alumni / Celebrity Game between alumni of the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, January 21st, 2012 for the "Steeltown Showdown" between the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Toronto Marlies at 1 p.m.

"Parking at Ivor Wynne Stadium is extremely limited and we wanted to provide an easy alternative for fans attending the Outdoor Classic," said Hamilton Bulldogs President and Governor Bob McNamara. "We are proud to partner with HSR and thank them for helping us provide this free service on both event days."

Ticket-holders can hop on any regular HSR bus for free with their game tickets in hand for three hours prior to the start of Friday's game and up until the end of services that night. "Ticket to Ride" privileges will commence at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with free HSR service ending at 7 p.m., approximately three hours after the game is scheduled to finish. There are three regular HSR routes that service Ivor Wynne Stadium: 1-KING, 2-BARTON and 3-CANNON.

A Park 'n' Ride Bulldogs Express shuttle service will also be offered to Outdoor Classic ticket-holders. Similar to the Ticat Express, these shuttles will depart from Lime Ridge Mall, Eastgate Square, and the existing Ticat Express stop on the north side of King Street downtown, as well as on the corner of Main Street and John Street. Lime Ridge Mall and Eastgate Square shuttles will start two hours prior to the start of the game and run every 30 minutes, with the last departure scheduled for 30 minutes before puck drop. The Downtown Bulldogs Express shuttle will also start two hours prior to game time but will run at 20-minute intervals.

Fans are encouraged to visit www.hamilton.ca/hsr for the current schedules of regular HSR routes and for all the information pertaining to the Bulldogs Express Park 'n' Ride shuttles.
