Jets Re-Assign Cormier to IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have re-assigned forward Patrice Cormier to the St. John's IceCaps.

Cormier, 21, has played in three games with the Winnipeg Jets this season. The Moncton, NB native has now played in 24 career NHL games between Atlanta and Winnipeg for a total of two points (1g, 1a) and four penalty minutes.

Cormier has spent the majority of this season with the St. John's IceCaps where he has played in 29 games this campaign for 13 points (9g, 4a) and 40 penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by New Jersey in the second round, 54th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
