
Otters receive readers choice award

Evansville Otters News Release
For the second straight year, the Evansville Otters received the Platinum Award for "Best Place to Watch a Sporting Event" as apart of the readers choice poll in the Evansville Courier and Press. Over 76,000 votes were casted in the readers' choice poll, which featured categories for dining, entertainment and services.
"This is a great honor and a wonderful recognition of the work that we have done over here at the Otters," said Evansville vice-president and general manager, Steve Tahsler, "It is a validation of all the effort that we put into the on-field product as well as the trying to make this the best place for fans in the tri-state to come and see a sporting event."
The Evansville Otters have represented the eastern division in the last two Frontier League championship series. The team is currently on a six-game roadtrip. The trip continues in Kalamazoo Friday night with a game against the Kings. Game tme is set for 5:35 p.m. CST and can be heard on 91.5, WUEV.
