
Otters Lose to Wolves, 7-2

Erie, PA - Two goals by Michael Sgarbossa led the Sudbury Wolves to a 7-2 win against the Erie Otters Friday night at Tullio Arena.
Sgarbossa scored the first of his two goals on the power play 9:19 into the game to put the Wolves on the board. *Connor Brown *tied the game for the Otters with one-tenth of a second to go in the first after *Greg McKegg*forced a turnover in the Wolves zone and turned it into Brown's 12th goal of the season.
The Wolves would regain the lead and not look back 2:59 into the second as Michael MacDonald scored his second of the season. Sudbury scored two more before* Adam Pelech* fired a wrist shot from the left point through traffic and into the net for his first goal since October 11, 2010 to make it 4-2 after two periods of play.
In the third period, the Wolves scored three goals to break open the game and win 7-2 on the road.
The Otters return home Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. to take on the Sarnia Sting. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game and receive a ticket voucher good for January 6 as part of the Toys for Tots Drive presented by Knickerbocker Equipment Co. Inc. and WSEE.
