Ottawa Reassigns Pageau to Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators announced today they have reassigned forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau to their American Hockey League affiliate the Binghamton Senators.

Pageau, who has posted 16 points (six goals, 10 assists) in 15 games played with Binghamton this year, was recalled by Ottawa on December 12. Since being sent back to Ottawa Pageau has recorded one goal in 13 games played. The 21-year old has skated in 21 games total this season for Ottawa, registering two goals.

Playing in his first professional season last year, Pageau skated with the B-Sens in 69 games notching seven goals and 22 assists before being recalled by Ottawa on April 10. With the parent club last season Pageau played in nine regular season contests scoring twice and adding two assists before recording four goals and two assists in ten postseason games.

Binghamton travels to Glens Falls tonight for a 7:00p.m. contest against the Adirondack Phantoms.
