Osceola Magic Rally in Second Half to Defeat G League Ignite on the Road

The Osceola Magic defeated G League Ignite 124-113 in Friday night's matchup at the Dollar Loan Center.
Mac McClung contributed 20 points, seven assists and five rebounds for the Magic.
"It kind of feels like a new season coming back from the All-Star break," McClung said. "You look at this point in the season, and this is when it becomes playoff time. We struggled for a bit in the second quarter, but good teams find a way to win in those situations."
D.J. Wilson contributed a double-double, adding 20 points, 13 rebounds and five assists in the victory.
"We let them catch up in the second quarter," Wilson said. "Coach came up to us after they built a 19-point lead; he didn't have to say much; we all knew what we had to do... Having great teammates always helps; when we play together, it makes everyone look great."
Osceola jumped out to an early first quarter lead, but G League Ignite surged ahead in the second. Despite trailing by as much as 19 in the second quarter, the Magic were able to cut the lead to 12 at halftime.
The Magic came out firing in the third quarter, outscoring Ignite 44-20 and going on a 27-4 run to reclaim the lead on a ferocious Wilson dunk. Osceola finished strong and never relinquished the lead for the remainder of the game. Six Magic players scored in double-digits as the team extended its winning streak to four games.
The Osceola Magic (11-7), NBA G League Affiliate of the Orlando Magic, will face the Salt Lake City Stars in West Valley City, Utah, at the Maverik Center Monday, February 26 at 9 p.m. The game will stream on NBAGLeague.com.
