
Orioles to hold open tryouts at Harry Grove Stadium

Frederick, MD - The Frederick Keys, class Single-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles and parent company Comcast-Spectacor, have announced the Baltimore Orioles will hold open tryouts at Harry Grove Stadium from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, July 6th.
Players attending the open tryouts must be between 16 and 23 years of age. American Legion players must have written permission from coach or post commander to be eligible to participate.
Players must bring own equipment, no equipment will be provided. Players are strongly advised against wearing shorts.
Players must register at the camp that day. To register, players should arrive 30 minutes prior to camp starting time. Pitchers & catchers report at 9am, position players at 10:30am. No Raindate is scheduled for the open tryout.
The Keys will host the Myrtle Beach Pelicans later on Wednesday July 6th, as the Frederick Keys and Comstar Federal Credit Union celebrate Military Appreciation Night. Active Military can call the Frederick Keys Group Events Department at 301-815-9900 to reserve $4 tickets for Wednesday> '> s game. Wednesday is also Party In The Park Night presented by Z104 and Champion Billiards Sports Café. 14 0z. drafts and Pepsi products will be discounted to $2. Rock band HOTSPUR will play beginning at 6 p.m.
