
Orange County SC Sends 2 Players to U-17 World Cup

Orange County SC News Release
We are proud to let you know that Aaron Cervantes and Bryang Kayo have been named to the USA roster for the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
Goalkeeper, Cervantes from Chino Hills, CA, signed a professional contract with Orange County SC at 15 years old and has made 11 professional starts for OCSC this season.
The selection of 2 players from OCSC highlights the success of the teams youth model and pathway to the pros approach. (14 USL players are on the roster, with 7 of those players on current MLS homegrown contracts and 3 are on USL professional contracts; Aaron Cervantes, Bryang Kayo and Adam Saldana from LA Galaxy II)
In other young player news, Francis Jacobs will be traveling to San Antonio this weekend with the OCSC Academy team for the inaugural USL Academy Cup, were he is expected to start and the USL named him as one of the players to watch during the tournament.
As OCSC heads into the 2019 playoffs, we appreciate you highlighting the accomplishments of our players and hope you will follow them and the U-17 team as they compete for the World Cup.
