October 10, 2019 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Indy Eleven News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - Indy Eleven's Neveal Hackshaw has been named to the Trinidad & Tobago Men's National Team roster ahead of tonight's 2019 CONCACAF Nations League fixture against Honduras. The League A/Group C opener for both squads is set for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff from Hasely Crawford Stadium Port-of-Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.
The 24-year-old defender was named to the Soca Warriors' 23-man tournament roster by coach Dennis Lawrence and is expected to miss Indy Eleven's road contest this Saturday at the Tampa Bay Rowdies (live on MyINDY-TV 23 & ESPN+).
Hackshaw made his 11th full international appearance for Trinidad & Tobago back on June 23, when he went the full 90 minutes against the United States in CONCACAF Gold Cup group stage action at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland. When not serving national team duty for the Soca Warriors, Hackshaw has been a mainstay in the Eleven lineup in 2019, starting all 27 of his regular season appearances and tallying two goals and one assist while helping the Boys in Blue stay in contention for the top spot in the USL Championship's Eastern Conference.
After this Saturday's crucial top-five clash at Tampa Bay, Indy Eleven will close out its sixth and most successful regular season in club history this Wednesday, Oct. 16, against Swope Park Rangers, at Lucas Oil Stadium. Kickoff for Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Community Health Network Foundation, is set for 7:00 p.m. (live on ESPN+ and MyINDY-TV 23). Tickets remain available for as little as $15 by visiting indyeleven.com/tickets or by calling 317-685-1100.
