Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI--Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that a limited number of general admission on-ice passes for the Dropkick Murphys concert after the Admirals 7:30 pm game with the Chicago on February 27 at the Bradley Center are currently on sale.

"We are always thrilled to be able to offer our fans this type of access at our concerts," Greenberg said. "Given the energy and stage presence of the Dropkick Murphys this show will truly be a one-of-a-kind experience from ice-level."

The concert is free with a game ticket and fans may purchase these exclusive on-ice passes for $20 at the Milwaukee Admirals office (510 W. Kilbourn Ave.), the Bradley Center Box Office, or at www.ticketmaster.com. Fans must have a ticket for the game to gain entry into the Bradley Center for both the game and the concert. The Dropkick Murphys concert will start approximately 30 minutes after the Admirals-Wolves game.

The Dropkick Murphys, an Irish-American Celtic Punk band originating in Boston, have released ten singles, two EP CDs and four full-length albums since the band's creation in 1996. The band attributes their music to a mixing of several genres including punk rock, Irish folk, rock and hardcore music.

In 2007, the Dropkick Murphys made their major-label debut with The Meanest of Times, released by Warner Bros. Records, and are currently working on material for their upcoming studio album, which is being planned for release sometime around St. Patrick's Day 2010. Most recently, they performed at the NHL's Winter Classic at Fenway Park in Boston before the start of the Boston Bruins-Philadelphia Flyers outdoor game.
