Moose Turn Down The Heat 3-0

ABBOTSFORD, B.C. - It was the Schneider and Schneider show at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre Wednesday.

Manitoba Moose goaltender Cory Schneider stopped all 34 shots fired his way to lead the Moose to a 3-0 American Hockey League victory over the Abbotsford Heat in front of 7,046 fans.

Long-time NHLer Mathieu Schneider scored the game winning goal on a one-timer from the Moose blue line. Guillaume Destines scored twice to pace the Moose offence. Matt Keetley made 22 saves in the Heat goal, but took the loss as the Heat drop a pair of games to their division rivals.

The Heat play back to back games against the Lake Erie Monsters Friday (7:30 p.m.) and Saturday (4 p.m.).
