Adirondack Hockey Hall of Fame Information

The Adirondack Hockey Hall of Fame, presented by Glens Falls National Bank, will begin in 2010 to establish a memorial to those who have developed the sport of hockey in the Adirondack region. The Adirondack Hockey Hall of Fame ("AHHOF") will exist in order to honor and preserve the history of the game of hockey, and in particular, those who have made outstanding contributions and achievements in the development of the game in the Adirondack region.

AHHOF will carry out its exhibition activities in its installation at the Glens Falls Civic Center and whenever permissible through outreach programs. The Adirondack region is defined as the area starting from the city of Saratoga Springs going north to Schroon Lake, west to the western edge of Warren and Saratoga counties and east to the New York/Vermont border.

The Adirondack Hall of Fame selection committee is comprised of hockey historians, former professional players and hockey executives, media members and youth hockey organizers. The selection committee is currently made up of eight voting members plus a non-voting representative from the Phantoms front office.

Statement of Activities

- Top local high school, college and amateur players and coaches

- Youth hockey coaches and organizers

- Women's hockey players, coaches and organizers
