(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- Charlotte Knights catcher Omar Narvaez had his contract purchased by the Chicago White Sox today. Narvaez is hitting .245 (35-for-143) with 14 runs scored, six doubles, two home runs, and 11 RBIs with the Knights in 41 games this season. The Venezuelan native began the 2016 season with the Double-A Birmingham Barons and hit .222 (10-for-45).
