Omaha, NE - Seven members of the Omaha Beef professional indoor football team have been tabbed as All-Stars by a vote of the teams of the United Indoor Football Association.

On the offensive side of the ball, quarterback James McNear, running back R.J. Rollins, wide receiver Ken Horton and offensive lineman Dan Potmesil were named to the team. On defense, defensive lineman Colin Bryant and defensive back Dustin Creager were tabbed. On special teams, kicker Ricky Lebeda was honored. The seven will join 43 others and play in the second UIF All-Star game to be held Saturday, July 19th at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

The honor is the fourth for Potmesil, the second for Rollins and the first for Bryant, Creager, Lebeda, Horton and McNear. Potmesil also received the award in 2005, 2006 and 2007 while Rollins was previously honored in 2006.

Heading into this weekend's game against the Bloomington Extreme, each of the BEEF's All-Stars have helped the team to its current 9-3 record. Omaha sits just one game out of first place in the UIF's Western Conference behind the Sioux Falls Storm with only two games left in the regular season.

Rollins has rushed for 459 yards and 15 touchdowns, caught 27 passes for 178 yards and four touchdowns, returned 30 kickoffs for 534 yards. His 19 touchdowns lead the team. Horton leads in receiving with his 53 catches, 629 yards and eight touchdowns while also rushing 10 times for 30 yards and another touchdown. Potmesil anchors the BEEF's offensive line and remains the only player to be with the team every season since their inception in 2000.

Bryant sits sixth on the team with his 39.5 tackles and is first with 14.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. In addition, he has two pass break ups and has forced a fumble. Creager is second on the team with 58.5 tackles and is first with seven interceptions while also breaking up seven more passes. Lebeda is second on the team in scoring with 103 points, which has come on 18-42 field goals and 49-62 on extra points. He boasts the longest field goal in the UIF this season with a 56-yard boot in the season-opening game against the Billings Outlaws.

Head Coach Steve Warren is elated by his team's seven All-Star selections.

"I'm happy for our guys," Warren said. "Each of them have played well this season and are very deserving of this honor. They're a great group of players."
