Bloomington Extreme News Release
A league-high 10 players from the Bloomington Extreme have been selected to participate in the second United Indoor Football League All-Star Game at Tyson Events Center in Sioux City on July 19, it was announced Tuesday.
Extreme players voted to the Eastern Conference team include quarterback Dusty Burk, running back Keith "SoSo" Brooks, wide receiver James Walton, offensive lineman Eric Johnson, return specialist Andre Raymond, defensive backs Terrill Mayberry and James Temple, defensive linemen Quince Holman and Marvin Campbell and kicker Peter Christofilakos.
"The all-star roster is another example of the balance within the league," said UIF commissioner Paul Aaron, who added that the team was selected by a vote of league coaches, general managers and members of the media. "The players selected are pretty evenly spread among the teams."
Burk, Mayberry, Walton and Holman were members of the East All-Stars in last year's game at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Burk was voted the game's most valuable player after leading his team to a 49-25 victory.
