Kelly and Ficklin Named to 2011 All-IFL First Team, Extreme Announce Team Awards

BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - The Bloomington Extreme are proud to announce that Defensive Linemen, Sean Kelly and Antonio Ficklin have been named as members to the 2011 All-IFL First Team.

Sean Kelly, in his first season with the Extreme organization, recorded 52 tackles, 14 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 4 passes broken up, and a blocked kick in 15 games played during the 2011 season.

Antonio Ficklin, a day after being named the IFL Defensive Player of the Year was also named to the First Team All-IFL Defensive Unit. In his 3rd season with the Extreme organization Ficklin recorded 15.5 sacks (leading the IFL) in 15 games this season to go along with 17.5 tackles for loss, 42 tackles, 4 forced fumbles, and 2 safeties.

The Bloomington Extreme are also pleased to announce the 2011 Team awards, as voted on by the Extreme players.

Offensive Player of the Year - Rocky Hinds, Quarterback

Defensive Player of the Year - Antonio Ficklin, Defensive Lineman

Special Teams Player of the Year - Brandon Walker-Roby, Wide Receiver/Kick Returner
