Omaha Beef Coaches Show To Debut Tomorrow Evening

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Beef, professional indoor football team, invites their fans to the debut of the team's coaches' show tomorrow evening, Wednesday, February 27 at Side Pockets, 1250 N. Washington (84th and Giles) in Papillion.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. and is available live on ESPN Radio, KOZN 1620 AM or accessed via the Internet at www.1620thezone.com under the "Listen Live" link.

Members of the Prime Dancers and the Rump Roasters and also Sir Loin are scheduled to appear. There will be an opportunity to sign up for contests and win Beef-related prizes.

The show will be hosted by local media personality Mike'l Severe. Severe is a familiar face as he has served as the team's radio color commentator in the past. In addition to Severe, the Beef's broadcasting interns, Casey Knopik and Allison Sinnett will be involved both on air and behind the scenes. The show will provide fans with the opportunity to meet and greet the Beef's staff and get the chance to possibly be on the radio with Severe.

Segments being planned for the show include talking with Head Coach Steve Warren and his coaching staff, game previews/reviews, player and staff interviews and other Beef-related news and notes.

Beef Director of Communications Brad Green sees the coaches' show as a vital communications tool for the team this season.

"The show will be a great avenue to gain knowledge about all facets of the Beef," Green said. "The diverse format of the show will ensure that it will be engaging and fun. I invite our fans to join us live in person or on the Internet to find out more."

The show will be held every Wednesday at Side Pockets from here on out until the end of the season.

The Omaha Beef will open their 2008 home season versus the Bloomington Extreme on March 15, 2008. All home games will be played at the Omaha Civic Auditorium.
