Jesus Guzman will be back in the lineup on Monday night.
The RockHounds will finish off a three game series with Frisco on Monday night at Citibank Ballpark, before kicking off the most important series of the season on Tuesday against San Antonio.
The RockHounds currently hold a 2.5 game lead on the Missions heading into Monday's action. If the RockHounds tie for the wild card, the Missions will have the advantage due to the head-to-head record (San Antonio is 18-10 against the RockHounds this season).
A little extra help is on its way, as Jesus Guzman will be in the lineup tonight after spending a portion of the last two months in Sacramento and rehabbing an injury in Arizona. Guzman is hittin well over .340 this season and should add depth to a banged up infield (Michael Affornti placed on the DL).
A pair of silver medalist from the Beijing Olympics will also return to the rotation later this week. Brett Anderson and Trevor Cahill have made their way back to the states and plan to start against the Missions this week.
