Sutton Named to TL Post-Season All-Star Team

CORPUS CHRISTI - Drew Sutton was voted onto the league's end-of-season All-Star Team as the second baseman...the only member of the Hooks to be so honored. Sutton currently leads the circuit in hits (154), doubles (35) and runs (96) and ranks second in extra-base hits (57), fourth in on-base percentage (.408) and sixth in batting (.315).

Sutton has either attained or is chasing a number of the club's single-season records, and has also captured first this year in a number of career statistical categories. The following charts tell the story of Sutton's place in both season and career numbers.

With two more stolen bases last night, Sutton has 18 HR's and 19 steals for the year. He needs just two more homers and one more steal to become the first 20-20 player in club history.
