
Olympian Manteo Mitchel to Throw out First Pitch on Saturday

Olympian Manteo Mitchell will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Saturday evening's baseball game between the Asheville Tourists and Greenville Drive at McCormick Field. Game time is 6:05 p.m.
Mitchell showed the true Olympic spirit in the 4x400-meter relay preliminaries when he suffered a broken leg during the event but managed to complete his lap. Mitchell returned from London and the Olympic Games earlier this week.
The Tourists continue their series with Greenville tonight. The two teams will meet Saturday at 6:05 p.m. and Sunday at 2:05 p.m. For more information, contact the Tourists front office at (828) 258-0428.
