
Olauson Named Player Of The Week

[FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.] - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) announced today that Fayetteville FireAntz forward Emery Olauson has been named the Sher-Wood Player of the Week for the league.
Olauson, a 6'2, 205-pound forward from Canmore, Alberta helped lead the FireAntz to earning three out of a potential four points this weekend in two home games against the Huntsville Havoc. In those two games Olauson totaled five goals and one assist for six points.
On Friday night, Olauson netted a hat-trick. He scored the first two FireAntz goals as well as the tally that sent the game to overtime. On Saturday, he chipped in with two more goals and added an assist, helping lead the club to a dramatic 5-4 victory
This is the fourth such award this season for the FireAntz. Olauson joins goaltender Chad Collins and forward Roc Sich (twice) as recipients of the league-wide award.
