LAST GAME: Oklahoma fell 10-1 at Round Rock on Thursday evening. The Express scored in six of the eight innings when they batted, including two runs in the first, third, fifth, and sixth innings. Mark Saccomanno hit two, two-run home runs to pace Round Rock. Travis Metcalf drove in the only run for Oklahoma, while Elizardo Ramirez took the loss after allowing seven of the ten runs. The RedHawks and Express the series with two wins apiece, but Oklahoma took the season series with Round Rock 11-5. TURNABOUT: Last night's loss was the RedHawks largest margin of defeat this season. Oklahoma had lost by eight runs twice this season, falling May 11 against Fresno and August 10 at Albuquerque, both by 13-5 finals. Oklahoma's largest margin of victory this year is 16 runs, beating Round Rock 19-3 on April 17.

STREAKS SNAPPED: Chris Shelton had his season-high hitting streak stopped at 11 games after going 0-2 last night. The RedHawks infielder hit .400 during the run. Shelton did walk twice last night and extended his on-base streak to 18 games dating back to 19 games. John Mayberry went hitless in four at bats and saw his hitting streak snapped at six games. Mayberry hit .308 during his latest streak.

LEE LEAVES THE DL:

Derek Lee will be activated from the RedHawks disabled list to start tonight for Oklahoma. The southpaw was placed on the disabled list on August eighth while dealing with kidney stones, and his start tonight will be his third this season for Oklahoma. Lee is 9-19 all-time with the RedHawks and holds a career ERA of 4.29 while wearing an Oklahoma jersey, having allowed 130 earned runs over 273 innings in 53 appearances, including 43 starts. AMERICAN SOUTH CHAMPIONS:

The RedHawks clinched the American South division title on August 23. Oklahoma has been in or tied for first since April 7, and was the first club to clinch its division in the Pacific Coast League this season. This title is the fifth in RedHawks history (1999, 2002, 2004, & 2005) and the tenth in Oklahoma City Triple-A history (including seven in the PCL and three in the American Association). MEMPHIS AT A GLANCE:

The Redbirds will finish the season in second place in the American North. Memphis enters this series eight games behind division champion Iowa and 13 games ahead of third place Omaha... The Redbirds have a chance to finish with their best season record since 2000, when the club went 83-61 during the regular season. Two more 2008 wins will give Memphis its second most in any season since joining the PCL in 1998. The Redbirds won 74 games in both 1998 and 1999, and won 73 games during the 2004 season.
