LAST GAME: Oklahoma beat Albuquerque 3-1 in a rain-shortened, eight inning game Wednesday afternoon. Kaz Fukumori allowed one unearned run over three innings in his third spot start of the season for the RedHawks. Jason Ellison and John Mayberry had run-scoring singles in the third inning to give Oklahoma a 2-1 the they would not relinquish. Ryan Roberts hit a solo home run to cap the scoring in the eighth. Rain started to fall in the top of the eighth and become a downpour by the home half. The field was tarped prior to the start of the ninth inning, and after a 62 minute delay, the game was called. Jared Hyatt pitched three scoreless innings of relief and earned the win in his Triple-A debut.

LITTLETON RECALLED:

Wes Littleton was recalled by the Rangers after yesterday's game against Albuquerque. The right-hander appeared in five games during his first stint with Texas this season with out factoring in any decisions and held an ERA of 8.64. Littleton was recalled by the Rangers on April 14 and optioned back to Oklahoma on April 24. After two stints with the RedHawks this season, Littleton is 7-1 with three saves and a 4.35 earned run average.

PERFECT 10:

Oklahoma is ten games over .500 for the first time since May 3. The RedHawks beat Tacoma 6-3 that day and improved their record to 20-10 at the time. Oklahoma has gone .500 since then, winning 32 and losing 32 since.

VAUNTED OFFENSE STOPPED:

Oklahoma pitchers have a combined team ERA of 0.90 in this current series against Albuquerque. The Isotopes have tallied three earned runs against the RedHawks thus far over the three-game series which has spanned 30 full innings. All three runs came Monday evening the in RedHawks 4-3, 13 inning victory. The Isotopes are batting .155 during this series so far, while Oklahoma is hitting .264 over the last three games, and have outscored Albuquerque 11-4. RedHawks pitchers have only surrendered two home runs to the PCL's best power-hitting team. Albuquerque leads the league with 127 home runs this season.

GUARANTEED SPLIT:

The RedHawks win yesterday was their eighth this season against the Isotopes and guarantees that Oklahoma can do no worse than split the 16 game season-long series against Albuquerque. These division rivals will meet one more time this season at Isotopes Park from August 8 through August 11. The RedHawks won the 2007 series against the Isotopes 8-7.

ALBUQUERQUE AT A GLANCE:

Dallas McPherson will return to the lineup tonight after having the last two days off. McPherson, the leading home run hitter in the minors this season, is slated to play first base tonight, just the eighth time he has played first for the Isotopes this year...

DOT-DOT-DOT:

Oklahoma is 8-9 when Nelson Cruz is not in the starting lineup this season. The RedHawks outfielder has been out of the starting lineup the last three games resting a sore left arm, but pinch ran and scored the winning run in Monday's extra inning victory... Monday's game at Round Rock will be televised locally on FSN Southwest. The Broadcast will start at 7 pm. It will be the first RedHawks road game ever broadcast back to the Oklahoma City area... Wednesday's victory guaranteed the RedHawks a winning record during this homestand.

Every game this season can be heard on the RedHawks Radio Network, led by broadcaster Jim Byers for the ninth season, and joined by Adam Marco during each homestand. Fox Sports Radio AM 1340 in Oklahoma City will serve as the flagship station in 2008. The network affiliates this season are KSIW 1450 AM in Woodward, KXCA 1380 AM in Lawton, KPNS 1350 AM in Duncan, KTJS 1420 AM in Hobart, KGFF 1450 AM in Shawnee, and KWSH 1260 AM in Wewoka.
