
Oklahoma City Recalls All-Star Forward Mark Arcobello

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks, announced forward Mark Arcobello (ARK-oh-bell-oh) has been recalled from the Thunder to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
Arcobello, 22, will be available to suit up for the Barons tonight at 5:05 p.m., who host the Peoria Rivermen.
The 5-foot-9, 165-pound forward was originally assigned to the Thunder from Oklahoma City on Oct. 12, and currently has a eight-game scoring streak at the ECHL level. He was named Most Valuable Player of the ECHL All-Star Classic, becoming the first player in Thunder history and the eighth player in ECHL history to collect a hat trick in the game.
Arcobello has scored 21 points (7g-14a) and seven goals in 33 ECHL games this season.
He made his AHL debut with Oklahoma City on Jan. 20, suiting up at Milwaukee.
The Milford, Conn. native suited up in 131 career games through four seasons (2006-10) in college with Yale University (NCAA), scored 116 points (49g-67a) and posted 203 penalty minutes. He finished over a point-per-game average in his final two seasons and was named second-team All-Ivy last season with a career-high 36 points (15g-21a) in 34 games as a 2009-10 senior.
