Philippe Cornet scored twice and goaltender David LeNeveu made 28 saves as the Oklahoma City Barons handed the Rockford Ice Hogs a 3-1 defeat.

Cornet scored on the power play in a scramble in front of the net at 1:06 of the second period. Rockford's goaltender Salak thought the puck was secure but there was no whistle and Cornet finished it off.

Cornet continued his early season success with a top shelf snipe at 2:41 of the second period. It was his league leading 15th goal of the season.

Rockford broke the shutout at 12:37 of the third period on the power play when defenseman Brian Connelly scored from the point following a faceoff in the Barons' zone.

Ryan O'Marra iced the game with 1:03 remaining in the third. The forward nabbed the empty netter and OKC took the win.

Oklahoma City moved to 14-5-0-1 with the win and the Ice Hogs dropped to 8-10-1-0. OKC returns to Grand Rapids for a rematch of Friday night's win against the Griffins. Faceoff is at 4 p.m. CT.
