B-Sens Announce Roster Moves

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have recalled forwards Louie Caporusso and Jack Downing from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Caporusso, 22, has appeared in six games with the B-Sens this season, recording no points.

The 5-10, 188-pound center has amassed eight points (one goal, seven assists) in eight games with the Jackals.

Downing, 22, has since appeared in 11 games for the B-Sens, recording one point (an assist).

The 6-3, 200-pound center recorded four points (two goals, two assists) and seven penalty minutes in five games with the Jackals.

Also today, the Binghamton Senators announced that they have released defenseman Matt Campanale from his professional try-out contract.

Campanale, 23, made his B-Sens' debut last night in the team's 4-1 loss to the Syracuse Crunch, recording no points.

The 5-11, 201-pound blueliner has split the start of the season with the Bakersfield Condors and the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL. In ten total ECHL games this season, Campanale has recorded two points (one goal, one assist) and four penalty minutes.

The B-Sens host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins tonight at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $18.50 for side seating, $17.50 for end seating.
