1,000 Games: The Tulsa Oilers host the Mississippi RiverKings Friday at 7:35 p.m. and the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs Saturday at 7:35 p.m. Saturday's game will be the 1,000^th regular season game for the Oilers since the reformation of the Central Hockey League in the 1992-93 season.

Say Cheese: And win $500 from Mays Drug Warehouse. At Saturday's game the first 1,000 fans will receive a free camera from Mays Drug Warehouse. The first picture will be taken on each camera and one of the cameras will have a picture telling the owner they've won a $500 gift card from Mays Drug Warehouse. Fans will have to take their cameras to one of the Mays Drug Warehouse locations to get the pictures develop and learn if they are the winner.

Bear Toss: Saturday will also be the Oilers annual Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are asked to bring Teddy Bears (or other stuffed animals) to the game. When the Oilers score their first goal, the bears will be thrown on the ice, collected and given to the Salvation Army.

Split Week: The Oilers split their two games last week. They scored a season high six goals in a 6-4 win over Austin, in the coaching debut for Dan Hodge. The next night, the Oilers fell behind Oklahoma City, 4-1 before eventually losing 4-3.

Getting Hot: Right winger Jeff Christian had three goals and three assists last week to become the team's scoring leader now with four goals and 13 assists for 17 points.
