Rapid City Rush News Release
As Rapid City Rush grows its franchise several local businesses are joining forces and the most recent business to sign on as a major sponsor for the team is the Howard Johnson.
As the official hosting hotel of the Rush, the Howard Johnson will host all visiting hockey teams throughout the 2008 - 2009 Rush Hockey Season. The Howard Johnson will be the first to welcome visiting hockey teams, officials, booster clubs and fans from other cities. "The Howard Johnson is a top-notch facility and will offer a great first impression of Rapid City to these out of town visitors. We're thrilled to have them as our hotel sponsor and look forward to building a solid future for the Rush franchise and hockey in the Rapid City market," said Assistant General Manager Tim Hill.
The team is slated to start play mid-October 2008 and will host 32 regular season games with the opportunity to host playoff games.
Season tickets are still available for sale, but some sections have already sold out according to General Manager Jason Rent. To reserve your seats call 605-716-PUCK (7825). Ticket prices cost between $12 and $20. For all the latest news on Rapid City RUSH and the Central Hockey League visit www.RapidCityRush.com.
