Tulsa Oilers News Release
The Tulsa Oilers have announced that they will be making home games available via internet broadcasts this year. It is the first time in several seasons that Oiler home games are broadcast.
"With a record crowd already expected for opening night, and the excitement of the BOK Center, and the team on the ice, we wanted to explore ways to make all the games available," Oilers general manager Taylor Hall said. "We're glad that we'll be able to present our home games as well as away games this year."
All 64 games will be available via the internet at
www.tulsaoilers.com "That's a neat feature because when you hear an exciting game, or a
great goal or save, you can go back and listen to it all the time,"
Hall said. Steve McCall, in his fifth season with Tulsa, will handle the play-by
play duties for the Oilers. The weekly coach's show (Monday nights at
7 p.m. from Cowboy Sharkies at 58^th and Memorial) with head coach
Dan Hodge is also available at www.tulsaoilers.com
In addition to having all 64 games available, fans can also see most
games on CHL TV as well. Saturday night, Santino's Restaurant (71^st
and Memorial behind Toys R Us) will be hosting the first Oilers watch
party of the season as the Oilers visit Corpus Christi at 7:05 p.m. The Oilers will play their first home game in the BOK Center
presented by U. S. Cellular, on Saturday October 25^th , against the
arch rival Oklahoma City Blazers. Season tickets for the Oilers
2008-09 season in the new BOK Center are available by calling the
Oilers at (918) 632-PUCK (7825).
