EVENFLOW: Jason Baird carries the “stick of good fortunes” into this week's play as the third-year forward has at least a point in seven consecutive games (5G, 7A) which ties him with Jared Dumba for the Ice season-best this year. The Chicago Blackhawks' first choice in the 1996 NHL Draft had a goal and an assist in the win, which included a power play goal and the game-winner. In addition to playing 18 NHL games with the “Hawks” during the 1998-99 season, Royer spent parts of three years with the IHL Ice and compiled 22 points (4G, 18A) and 185 penalty minutes in 69 games.
