*Homestand Starts:* The Tulsa Oilers host the Mississippi RiverKings tonight. It's the start of a three game weekend for the Oilers.
*Records: *Oilers are 22-32-4 with 48 points in fourth place in the Northwest Division.
Mississippi is 34-20-4 for 72 points in fourth place in the Northeast Division.
*Season Series: *This is the last of nine meetings between these two teams this season. Mississippi has won six of the previous eight meetings, the most recent, 2-1 in Tulsa on March 4^th .
*Recent Action: *The Oilers dropped a 6-2 decision at Amarillo Tuesday night. Steve Jensen and Paul Kelly had the goals for the Oilers in that game. Mississippi tied its game with Oklahoma City Tuesday night, 4-4 in the final two minutes of regulation time, but lost 5-4 in a shootout.
*Don't Relax: *Neither of these teams will be able to relax on the power play tonight. They are tied for fourth place in the CHL with 14 shorthanded goals. Mississippi's Ryan Campbell leads the league with nine shorthanded goals, followed by the Oilers David Alexandre Beauregard with eight goals.
*Playoff Picture:* The Oilers can play a big part in the Northern Conference playoff picture this weekend. Mississippi is battling Youngstown and Texas for the final playoff spot, with Texas having 74 points, Youngstown 73, and Mississippi 72. Then the Oilers play the two Northwest Division leaders tomorrow and Sunday.
*Next Up: *The Oilers travel to Colorado for an 8:05 p.m. game tomorrow (KRVT AM 1270 and Altitude TV) and Rocky Mountain for a 4:05 p.m. game Sunday (both times central). Mississippi travels to Bossier-Shreveport tomorrow.
