March 14, 2008 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
The Central Hockey League (CHL) released today the dates that the year-end awards winners, the All-CHL Team and the All-Rookie Team will be announced. The announcements will begin on Monday, March 17th and continue through Monday, March 24th with the announcement of the CHL's Most Valuable Player.
The MVP Award will be decided between the league's four top scorers and the goaltender with the most wins in the league. The candidates are Arizona's Alex Leavitt who leads the CHL with 107 points (34-73=107) Laredo's Jeff Bes (43-57=100), New Mexico's Konrad Reeder (34-58=92) and Rocky Mountain's Brent Cullaton (20-68=88).
